  1. Clean the Case and Pipe with mineral spirits—avoid Pledge and alcohol products.

  2. Old English Furniture Polish or Teak Oil applied after cleaning with a rag will restore its natural beauty.

See the following videos below for detailed instructions on the use of your Serenity Case.  Written instructions can also be found below.

Cleaning and Filling Instructions

You will need:  Serenity Case, Pipe,  Lighter,  Pick/Driver,  Screens, Ball Bearings, & Cleaning Rod

  1. Cleaning the Pipe and Bol is important to insure fresh clean hit every time you light up.

    • To clean the pipe, place a Ball Bearing in the end of the pipe tube. Use the ramrod to shove the Ball Bearing thru the tube until it contacts the screen. Turn the pipe vertical with the ramrod against a hard surface and apply force to the Bol end of the pipe forcing the Ball Bearing to enter the Bol. Use the pick to remove the screen and Ball Bearing. Install a new Screen using the Pick/Drivers Brass end to seat it into the Bol Cavity.

    • Note: Screens and Ball Bearings may be reused if the screen is taken out and cleaned before the Ball Bearing is pushed thru the tube.

  2. Filling the lighter with butane.

    • We recommend American Fuel Zippo Butane 2.5oz red and white cans

    • 1.   Using the Pick/Driver or a small screwdriver, purge the fuel tank by pressing the fuel valve fill pin located at the bottom of the Lighter a couple of times. You should hear a hiss as you press the valve inward. No hiss, the tank is empty

    • 2.   Using the driver, close the fuel valve turning it CW (clockwise).

    • 3.  Set the Lighter on a flat surface with the fuel valve up. Hold the fuel tank vertical and press the fuel filler tube into the fuel valve, on the lighter, giving the lighter, 3 second shots, repeat 5 times.

    • Note: If you have fuel blowout, the fill can is not being held straight with the lighter.

    • 4.  After filling, Turn the fuel valve a ½ turn CCW (counterclockwise) with your Driver to set the flame. Test and adjust the flame to your liking by carefully opening or closing the fuel valve with your Driver.
